The CASAP conference is a three day event held each year in January in a different location in the state. The first day consists of various farm tours to highlight that region's unique agriculture, followed by two days of talks on current events, changing regulations, and topics pertinent to the job of agricultural and weights & measures inspector.

CASAP hosts two mock orals each year, one in the North and one in the South. The mock oral is a one day event to help agricultural and weights & measures inspectors, looking to advance their careers, to prepare for the CDFA Deputy, Commissioner, and Sealer oral licensing exams. This is a great opportunity to learn more about the process, general preparation resources, as well as practice presenting to a panel.
