Born and raised in Fresno, my passion for agriculture started at an early age. I pursued my degree at Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo in Agricultural Business and spent the early part of my career in the private sector in Napa Valley. Spending time with my family became a priority so I moved back to the Central Valley and started my career with the County of Fresno Department of Agriculture in 2013. I worked hard to acquire all 8 licenses and was given the opportunity to be a Lead Inspector in one of our busiest district offices. After 5 years as a Lead, I was promoted to Supervisor of the Quarantine Office. I am currently taking my Deputy exams and am looking forward to the mock orals hosted by CASAP. I must say that I truly enjoy working with staff, interacting with industry and serving the public.
